Here’s the latest on Marvel’s Jessica Jones Release Date, News, and Updates.
The Key art is an animated motion version of the Jessica Jones, which offers a glimpse at the look and feel of the upcoming series. It was published on Netflix’s official Youtube account, that got fans all excited for the series. A new trailer is expected to be also release on Friday.
“After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a private detective in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s time the world knew her name…” The description of the video said.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones is a follow-up to Daredevil Season 1 that has also been renewed for Season 2 and scheduled to be released in 2016. This marks Jessica Jones as the second of four live-action adventure series from Marvel on Netflix (Marvel’s Daredevil launched in April 2015 and Jessica Jones will be followed by Luke Cage and Iron Fist, all leading up to the superheroes teaming up in Marvel’s The Defenders)
This also marks the second female protagonist from the Marvel universe to take on a major series of her own, the first was Marvel’s Agent Carter which feature Peggy Carter as the main protagonist. After the success of the series Marvel clearly saw a potential for female superheroes to take the lead, contradictory to people’s belief about them being just secondary characters.
Fans have been teased a lot in the past weeks, showing tiny bits of pieces of videos showcasing Jessica Jones life and super powers.
